business DEVELOPMENT officer (DOMESTIC)

Outsource Institute believes in the value and integrity of a quality education, having been in operation for over 21 years we are seeking a talented Business Development individual to help us continue to change lives for the better through education in 2020 and beyond.

The ideal applicant for this role would be someone who:

  • Will respect our organisation’s money, time and resources
  • Will make our clients their priority- our clients trust us with their needs, it will be your role to handle them honestly and profitably for them and our business.

The role, will involve:

  • Building new client relationships through networking, cold calling, walk-in sales and various other means that may be required to generate revenue.
  • Solutions selling, getting to know clients so that you can offer them our most suited services to meet their needs.
  • Customer relations management, establishing and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external clients.
  • Compiling sales reports for weekly sales meetings
  • Tracking and recording interactions with prospective and existing clients within our CRM system (wisenet)
  • Sourcing new clients (predominantly B2B) and converting these into student enrolments.
  • Travel, you will be required to client manage in the areas of Cairns, Townsville and various other states of Australia.

To be a perfect fit for this role you will need:

  • 2-3 years proven experience in direct and telephone sales environments
  • The personal drive to achieve and exceed KPI’s
  • Intermediate skills with multiple software, including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint
  • Prior Training industry experience (advantageous)
  • Current Australian Drivers Licence.

We are seeking a talented Business Development individual to help us to recruit international students, to change their lives for the better through education in 2020 and beyond.

The ideal applicant for this role would be someone who:

  • Communicates clearly and professionally in writing, over the telephone and in person.

The role will involve:

  • Managing, coordinating, and administrating the agent and student relationship prior to enrolment
  • Being accountable for the provision of the high-quality recruitment processes for agents and students
  • Ensuring agents provide the correct information to our potential students.
  • Developing and implementing sales strategies and campaigns in line with company objectives and KPIs
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with local (onshore) international education and migration agents
  • Visiting education and migration agents regularly to educate and promote Outsource Institute (AUS)’s course offerings for all markets in line with KPIs.
  • Providing ongoing marketing support for education and migration agents and other partners
  • Gathering feedback on domestic & international market conditions including competitors, industry trends, and opportunities for Outsource Institute (AUS).
  • Facilitating introductions to new education agents, migration agents and referral agent partners – this will include cold calling and development of prospective target lists and spreadsheets, attending meetings and managing communication with these agents and referral partners
  • Weekly reporting, which will include updates on student enrolments, new agent leads, existing agents and any relevant feedback received.
